ELEVATE Ireland 2017

Uniforms are Universal After All

Today was a very busy (but full of blessing) day. We started off the day by going to Sligo Grammar School.  While we were there we were given the opportunity to introduce our group as well as interact with other fellow students and eat lunch with them. We (Balthazar and I) realized several things:

  1. They also wear uniforms *sigh*
  2. Their cafeteria food is really good
  3. They do announcements in person as opposed to over a loudspeaker
  4. The cafeteria dessert is REALLY good
  5. Generally people aren’t morning people.

After that some of us went home and some of our fellow teammates stayed behind to lead a class at the school. From what we’ve heard it was a huge blessing and success. Following that, we prepared ourselves to lead a youth night at a venue called “The Crib”. We would say that overall it went really well and they were hyped to eat pizza. All humor aside though, God used us as vessels to reach Irish youth. We began with worship, “Oceans” and “No Longer Slaves” were quite powerful and I could feel as the spirit of God move among us. Joel and Milo gave testimonies and I had to deliver a brief message on how we are all broken and how God uses our brokenness for his glory. Finally, we finished off the night by eating pizza, playing games, talking, and playing Dutch Blitz. I believe that God is strengthening our faith and leading us to a place without fear or borders. God is good and I’m ecstatic to do Healing on the Streets tomorrow. Please keep praying for us :)

“ Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders

Let me walk upon the waters

Wherever You would call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander

And my faith will be made stronger

In the presence of my Savior ”

Yay! It looks like you're all having a great time in ministry together. I'm praying that you'll be empowered and given everything you need including rest, energy, and unity.... Especially rest!! Remember to give your whole heart each day in everything you do.
