Heritage Christian Academy is an alternative school program operating in partnership with Palliser Regional Schools. Society Fees include a Membership fee and Christian Education Fees which support the Christian curriculum and faith-based program within our school, as well as the expenses associated with the ownership and operation of our facility.

3. Refundable Capital Bond Deposit

A Refundable Capital Bond is a requirement for all new families with a student starting in Grade 1 or higher. We do not want the Capital Bond to be a barrier in your family's considerations of HCA; please contact Elllen Breakenridge about your options.

  • It is refunded at the end of August when you leave HCA, or you can choose to donate it to the school and you will receive a tax receipt.
  • Grade 1 students may pay $1,500 prior to entering Grade 1 and $1,500 prior to entering Grade 2.
  • Kindergarten students do not pay until Grade 1.
  • It can be paid in full upon entering HCA or a monthly payment schedule can be arranged.

 4. School Fees

Every student will be charged school activity and material fees. This helps to cover some material costs for the special occasions, curriculum based field trips, technology fees and includes swimming lessons for the Elementary grades. Depending on the student's grade, extra-curricular activities and options chosen, there will be additional fees. School Fees are billed in September and February once students have started their courses. You will be able to manage and pay these fees through a School Cash Online account.

5. Financial Assistance

At Heritage Christian Academy we value every one of our students and families. For that reason, we strive to provide financial assistance where special circumstances or unexpected financial difficulties arise. However, we cannot guarantee that all applicants will receive the assistance requested. Assistance is reviewed on an annual basis. Families requesting assistance will need to reapply each year, and can only receive assistance for 3 years of their time at HCA.
